2023 CAIRNS TO THE CAPE
Roll on up for the Great Endeavour Rally, and find out why this is one of Australia’s longest and most successful charity motoring events.
In 2023 we will be heading of on our Cairns to the Cape trip. Kicking off from from Cairns the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef on August 31. Join us as we head north bound for the Cape, travel through National Parks, and explore some of Australia's most photographed sites like Fruit Bat Fall. Not to mention the never seen hidden secrets thanks to accessing private property along the way. Put your feet up and relax at Australia's most northern point for a lay day as we pull up stumps at Loyalty Beach ready for a lay day. From here, all roads point south back to Cooktown where we will finish on September 9. Throughout this adventure, you’ll travel through picturesque Australian scenery and visit remote destinations that few others get to see - giving you and your crew every chance to discover the best this country has to offer by day before relaxing with friends new and old each night.
There’s no rush either. The Great Endeavour Rally is not a race or a time trial. It is an adventure that celebrates the natural wonder of Australia - one that brings together the camaraderie and spirit of an amazing driving community to support people with intellectual disability.

Your individual fees allow us to provide you with the safest and most enjoyable driving event possible, inclusive of catering and camping fees as well as a much sought after merchandise pack! Each team will be provided with a purpose built system (known as RallySafe) that will keep you in constant contact with the GER officials and enable your friends to track your trip from home. The Australian Defence Force travel alongside our full field and supply mechanical support though qualified mechanics, auto electricians, and boiler makers. In addition, a flatbed tow-truck supplied by Transport Field Services will be there to transport any car should it be required. Plus, for all other emergencies a medic is also on hand throughout the rally should their services be required.
