I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Great Endeavour Rally – Weekend Edition — a community of people united by one goal: making a real and lasting difference in the lives of people with intellectual disability.
This year marks 75 years of Endeavour Foundation supporting people to live, learn and work with greater independence. To celebrate this milestone, the Rally family is aiming to raise $75,000 — not only to fund vital programs and equipment, but to shine a light on what’s truly needed for people with intellectual disability to live full, meaningful and connected lives.
For our family, this Rally is personal.
Our son Bay Hall is in Year 11 at Marist College Ashgrove, and we’re taking on this adventure together. We’re rallying as a family to help raise awareness and champion inclusion — because every person deserves opportunity, dignity and the chance to thrive.
Planning and running fundraisers together has already strengthened our communication and collaboration as a family. It’s powerful for children to see that their actions — especially when combined with others — can create real, positive change. That sense of shared purpose builds confidence, resilience and connection.
Family fundraising doesn’t just support a cause. It strengthens communities. It brings neighbours, schools and local organisations together. And when families give together, it plants the seeds for a lifelong commitment to service — creating a generational tradition of philanthropy.
Together, we’re fundraising, sharing stories and spreading awareness — doing whatever we can to turn support into real impact.
