Adventure with a purpose.
The Background
For many years, Leigh has been helping people with special needs with Happy Feat.
Happy Feat helps by providing an opportunity to feel a sense of belonging and to enjoy some social interaction and “normality”; things we take for granted.
It is a lot of fun, but more importantly, the transformation it has had on so many lives is quite remarkable.
But these people need other more fundamental help that Happy Feat cannot provide.
So, this year we have decided to support an organization that can provide that fundamental support.
The Fundraiser
We are participating in the GREAT ENDEAVOUR RALLY, organised by The Endeavour Foundation who help people with disabilities to live their best life, by providing disability services such as Work, Community & Housing along with outstanding support.
Just like Happy Feat, this Rally looks like it too will be a lot of fun.
We have paid all our entrance fees and are getting excited about the adventure ahead.
But before we go, we have to sort out the serious side of this adventure and raise some funds to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
I would
love to raise at least $15,000 and will be setting out to achieve that
goal.
The

- Over 35% of 8.9 million households include a person with a disability
- Every two hours a child is diagnosed with an intellectual disability
